Workin' 9 to 5 - well, not really...

I start a new job today. I will be working at an art gallery in downtown Anchorage; doing framing design as well as packing and shipping of sold pieces. And a little bit of sales on the side. While the pay isn't quite what my old job would have been, I think it will be a fun summer job. I'll be working 1:30-9:00 PM Monday through Friday. I'm not sure how I feel about those hours. But whatev.

Fortunately the days up there are long enough that you can still get a good, long hike in before work if you start around sunrise. Hope the job works out for you.

Just found your blog after visiting your flickr page to see new photos...I'm speechless. Seriously, looking through those pictures, I don't know anyone who is as artistically talented with a camera/lens. You lead such an adventurous life...thanks for capturing it on film so those of us still in Kentucky can live vicariously through you! :)
take care,
cindy

I'm not sure who staupostek is, but I think it's hilarious that he or she thinks you'll get up at sunrise for a hike, or anything for that matter....
: )
Let us know how the job goes...
Love you,

Sounds like a great job for you...especially if you'll sneak some of your own fab art into the gallery and become the new Eskimo art sensation. That would be hottt.
